Odd first revision date

I keep tracking down sites that get odd founded dates from User:Audit Bee. Here we have another wiki that reports revision 1 being the current time. Interesting enough the revision history for Main Page there shows the first few versions as (note, last one is first):

The timetamp of the first revision changes on page load. This is MW 1.19.3. I wonder if this is some odd bug in MediaWiki. I manually set the date. 🐝 thingles (talk) 13:23, 17 June 2013 (UTC)

Maybe add a check along the lines of if revision one happened in the last hour, check revision two, and if revision two was before revision one use revision two as founded date?--ete (talk) 14:37, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
